Product Introduction:

MBBR is a new type of biofilm reactor, which is an improved composite biofilm reactor developed on the basis of fixed bed reactors, fluidized bed reactors, and biofilters. It overcomes the complex operations of fixed bed reactors requiring regular backwashing, fluidized bed reactors requiring carrier fluidization, submerged biofilter clogging requiring cleaning of filter media and replacement of aerators, while retaining the characteristics of traditional biofilm methods such as shock load resistance, low sludge production, and long sludge age. Compared with activated sludge process, due to the longer sludge age, it can retain more nitrifying bacteria and has better denitrification effect. The main principle is to use the continuous flow of sewage through the reactor packing carrier to form a biofilm on the carrier. Microorganisms multiply and grow on the biofilm while degrading organic pollutants in the sewage, thereby purifying the sewage.
