Product Overview:

MVR is the abbreviation for Mechanical Vapor Recompressing in English, abbreviated as Mechanical Vapor Recompressing Evaporator. It is a new type of high-efficiency and energy-saving evaporation equipment mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry. The equipment uses low-temperature and low-pressure steaming technology and clean energy as energy sources to generate steam and separate water from the medium. It is an internationally advanced evaporation technology and an upgraded product to replace traditional evaporators. MVR is a technology that utilizes the heat generated by its own secondary steam to reduce the demand for external energy.

Working principle:

Working principle of MVR evaporator

The principle of MVR evaporator is to use a high-efficiency steam compressor to compress the secondary steam generated by evaporation, increase the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, and inject the secondary steam with increased thermal energy into the heater to heat the original liquid again. The heated original liquid continues to evaporate to produce secondary steam, thus achieving a continuous evaporation state. Equivalent to the triple effect of multi effect evaporation, it reduces the demand for external heating and cooling resources and lowers energy consumption.

Technological process:

1.Heating section: The MVR evaporator mainly recovers secondary steam, which is then reused to achieve wastewater treatment. The secondary steam evaporates in the heating chamber, and the generated steam enters the condenser for condensation after passing through the heating chamber, and then is cooled by the cooling tower. The condensed water in the cooling tower is then pumped into the evaporator through a circulation pump to continue evaporating.

2.Evaporation section: During the evaporation process, the secondary steam is compressed by a steam compressor and sent to a heating chamber for heating, then heated to boiling state. After entering the evaporator, the secondary steam is utilized for evaporation, thereby achieving the recovery and utilization of the secondary steam. During the entire evaporation process, the heat required for the secondary steam is supplied by the heating chamber.

3.Condensation section: The condensation section of the MVR evaporator mainly condenses the evaporated secondary steam through the condenser to obtain aqueous liquid. The condenser adopts a counterflow form, which can make the aqueous liquid vaporize faster and reduce losses during condensation.

4.Cooling and Cooling: The evaporated secondary steam enters the condensate cooler for cooling and cooling, and then the condensate is sent to the circulating water pump. Through the circulating water pump, the condensate is sent to the sewage treatment equipment for secondary utilization.

5.Vacuum treatment: MVR evaporators evaporate under vacuum conditions, so vacuum treatment is required for the evaporator. Vacuum treatment mainly reduces the pressure inside the evaporator to a certain level, thereby ensuring that the secondary steam inside the evaporator does not escape.

Equipment Composition:

1.Preheater (heat exchanger): In many cases, the temperature of the raw material to be evaporated is low before entering the evaporator heat exchanger. In order to fully utilize the thermal energy in the system, tube or plate heat exchangers are often used to preheat the raw material.

2.Steam compressor: It is the core component of the MVR system, which compresses the secondary steam to increase its enthalpy and provide continuous steam to the system. According to the characteristics of the flow rate and boiling point increase of the original solution, Roots or centrifugal compressors can be selected. For raw materials with a significant increase in boiling point, compressors can be used in series in multiple stages.

3.Vapor-liquid separator: It is a device for separating steam and concentrated liquid. For the original liquid with crystallization, the separator and crystallizer can be designed as one unit, and a forced circulation pump can be installed to complete the functions of gas-liquid separation, concentration, and crystallization.

4.Steam heat exchanger: The preheated raw liquid is loaded into the steam heat exchanger through the feed pump and exchanges heat with the steam generated by the steam compressor, causing it to quickly vaporize and evaporate. Select the form of heat exchanger based on the characteristics of the original solution (viscosity, presence of crystallization and scaling, etc.).

5.Control Center: The MVR series real-time monitoring center is composed of industrial control computers and PLCs. Through software programming, real-time collection of various sensor status signals is carried out to automatically control the motor speed, valve closure and adjustment, liquid flow rate and flow rate, temperature and pressure control and adjustment, etc., so that the system can work in a dynamic balance state. At the same time, the device also has various functions such as automatic alarm, automatic parameter recording, and providing reports.
