With the implementation of various policies on gas control by the country, Shandong Shanlan Environment Group Co., Ltd. has made significant breakthroughs in its independently developed “low concentration gas power generation and heating technology”. In response to the coal mine gas control market, Shanlan Environment has specially launched a set of high-temperature gas oxidation processes to achieve efficient treatment of low concentration gas.

This technology collects existing low concentration gas through negative pressure without affecting the coal mine extraction system. Based on heat storage capacity improvement technology, safety blending technology, and zero electric drive energy-saving and emission reduction technology, the low concentration gas extracted from the coal mine with a concentration of less than 8% is mixed with exhaust gas or air to a concentration of 1.0%~1.2% and sent to the thermal storage oxidation device (RTO). The methane and oxygen in the gas are flameless oxidized and burned in a high-temperature environment, and the released energy is recovered by the waste heat boiler. The steam generated by the waste heat is used for heating during the heating season, and drives the steam turbine unit to generate electricity during the non heating season. This process has a gas treatment efficiency of over 99% and is suitable for the treatment of low concentration gas and exhaust gas in coal mines.
Through this technology, while achieving gas emission standards, utilizing waste heat for power generation and heating also saves a lot of costs, providing strong technical support for the green transformation of coal mining enterprises.
